Fashion trends and what i think of them 01

I will be talking about some of the fashion trends and also rating them! I will be rating them based on practicality, visual appeal, how easy it is to style and how many ways you can style it. A clothing piece could be practical but visually unappealing, or it can be very appealing but hard to style, or maybe it can be worn in only one specific way. I will be using the 5/5 rating. Keep in mind, that these are just my opinions, just because i dont like something it doesn't mean that its necessarily bad, and just because i like something it doesn't mean that its necessarily good! I think this should be obvious but unfortunately for some people its not. 

 Ballet flats 

I would personally say that ballet flats were always around, although it especially git popular this year. You can see way more people buying them this year. Visually they are very appealing to me! They look adorable. They aren't too fancy, but also not too casual, which is another reason why i like them. They look very soft and feminine. I think there are so many ways to style them! I personally, mostly picture them with dresses or skirts and maybe with shorts, nit really with pants. Ballet flats look simple, thats why they are easy to style. I have to also mention how there are so many variations of it, which makes them even more appealing to everyone. I think ballet flats that look too busy kind of loose the charm that a simple ballet flat has. (Examples of "busy" ballet flats are ones with very flashy patterns or with sort of belts, i also don't seem to like ones with thick belt like straps). The downside of them is the lack of support. Thats why i don't think they can be worn for a very long time. Although i think there can be such thing as orthopedic ballet flats. People with flat feet or high arches have mentioned not having a good experience with them. So overall i give ballet flats a rating between 3/5 or 4/5. I personally do want one and i might buy it (haven't fully decided yet).

 Blugirl °❀

First time i came across blugirl, was last year. I saw some short footage of 2007 spring collection runway and thought that it looked very good. But not just good but also playful, cute, colorful, and in a way, flirty. I think its definitely worth writing about this brand! 

Blugirl is an Italian woman's fashion line, launched in 1995 by Anna Molinari. Blugirl is a sister brand to blumarine (i want to mention that the iconic dress Brittney Murphy wore in uptown girls, is in fact a dress from blumarine!). Although similar to each other, blugirl was made for younger audiences, so it was more accessible. Blugirl is for people who seek blend of feminine, flirty and cute clothes with a "hint of irony". As a brand, in my opinion blugirl stands out for its unique and playful style. I think many vintage pieces from this brand can still be worn today, to me some of the pieces dont feel very dated.

I think blugirl has very adorable and beautiful collections, these are just some of my favourites! I am sure other people can and will be able to find at least few pieces that they'll love from blugirl collections. As for present day blugirl, i cant tell you much honestly. I am not saying its necessarily bad, but looking at blugirl's website and Instagram, i am not left with any sort of impression. But thats honestly how i feel about most brands these days. Overall i like blugirl's old collection because of how fun, playful and flirty they looked.
